While studying for my Sound Engineering Diploma in London and working at my local music shop in Surrey, I started my musical journey exploring as many studios as I could talk my way into trying to find out how it all worked in the real world. The music shop was in the Surrey suburbs and was frequented by a few  musicians, producers and artists, I managed to charm my way into global prog rock giants Genesis recording studio Fisher Lane Farm in the  Sussex countryside, I sat behind my first SSL mixing console, operated my first tape machine and mixed my first song “Invisible Touch” using the original multitrack in the same studio it was mixed in.

I was hooked!!

I still have the half inch master tape I recorded my first mix onto :-)
